Regulatory Update: Hazard Communication for Ink Manufacturers

Printing inks, like all chemical compounds, must be properly managed to ensure the protection of human health, property, and the environment. The storage, usage, and disposal of many of the chemical compounds used in printing inks are regulated through federal and state agencies as well as local authorities. NAPIM stays updated on the latest regulatory updates, so our members can too. Read about the latest:

  • The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Learn more

One of the most significant changes to the collocated event was the opportunity to host a joint Awards gala. In years past, NAPIM has hosted an Annual Awards Gala in the spring, and a Technical Awards event in the fall. This year, both award shows were combined into one, to provide a larger audience representing the industry’s best and the brightest. This year the following were recipients of NAPIM’s Annual Awards: Read more
