NAPIM Gears Up for 2025 Summer Course This July at Appalachian State University
Registration Now Open for Industry’s Premier Technical Training Program
Washington, DC – June 2, 2025 – The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) is preparing to welcome industry professionals to its 2025 Summer Course, taking place July 14-18, at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Designed for both newcomers and seasoned professionals looking to sharpen their technical expertise, the NAPIM Summer Course delivers an intensive week of education on the science and technology behind printing ink. Through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on lab experiences, attendees gain practical insights they can immediately apply.
The 2025 program features expert-led sessions on topics such as paper properties and printability, ink formulation, film substrates, energy cure technologies (UV, EB, LED), rheology, viscosity, regulatory impacts and much more. Participants will also receive first-hand exposure to state-of-the-art design and prototyping labs, as well as printing presses including offset, flexo and digital.
The course’s instructor lineup includes specialists from leading organizations such as BASF, Evonik, Flint Group, INX International, Siegwerk, Sun Chemical and others, alongside faculty from Appalachian State University.
